Good logistics are crucial to maintaining competitive advantages.

We customise logo, scales and colours to customer specifications and deliver in no time, making an extra effort to ensure that our products reach their destination in record time, undamaged and ready for fast and easy commissioning and subsequent operation.

The main switchboard and a number of subdistribution switchboards form the electrical central nervous system of the ship. Because they are critical to power supply, control and system monitoring, instrument robustness is among the most important quality parameters. Collaborating closely with classification societies, who audit our test results and methods before issuing certificates, our Type Test Lab performs measurements relevant for classification approvals and CE marking.

For vessels with diesel mechanical propulsion systems, DEIF devices help crews get the best possible performance from engines and generators. They control, coordinate, and protect all power generating assets on board, and they can be used to integrate shore power in the onboard power management system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while the ship is in port.

DEIF’s controller platforms offer features that optimise performance, lower fuel consumption, and protect engines and gensets. The off-the-shelf PPM 300 advanced power management system offers factory settings that facilitate the use of these features, and they can be set up from scratch in great detail in the highly configurable PPU 300 paralleling and protection unit (available with a built-in CODESYS PLC environment). In addition, we offer engineered solutions based on both platforms.

For vessels with double main engines and shaft generators, our controllers let crews operate the shaft generators in power take-off (PTO) and power take-in (PTI) mode. The latter option lets you power both propellers from the same engine (saving fuel and running hours) or use the shaft generator to provide short-term power boosts.

Other DEIF products let you design advanced functionality and integration (AMC 300 and AMC 600 PLCs), get effective AC protection (MVR medium voltage relays), provide additional safety and security (SDU 104), and give crews an easy and detailed overview (graphical interfaces and switchboard and bridge instrumentation).

With the Blueflow energy management system, crews can save fuel and reduce emissions by following suggestions based on real-time information about current operating conditions.
